Membership benefits are activated once your annual dues are received. Please utilize the PayPal option on the website for the quickest way to join.

When using the check payment option, please note that your membership activation will take approximately 7 - 10 business days once the check is received. This is due to receiving and processing your check payment. Once this is completed you will begin receiving information on the club and access to the Facebook page.
Avon Newcomers & Neighbors membership fee for you and your entire family must be renewed yearly. This fee helps to cover the club activities from August-July.
Membership is open to all residents who have recently moved to Avon or who have had a recent change in circumstances, such as leaving the work force, sending the kids off to school, having more children, or retirement.
Annual membership dues (covering August-July) are $40.00. Membership in Avon Newcomers allows you and your family to attend our frequent social events, participate in our active interest groups, and attend meetings and luncheons. All members need to renew their membership each year online.
General Meetings are held periodically during the year from September through May at different locations within Avon. Meetings are typically held at a member's home or a local venue. Meetings begin with refreshments, followed by a program presented by local experts on topics of general interest.
Babysitting is available at the daytime General Meetings for a nominal charge.
Board meetings are held monthly from August to June. If you are interested in participating in the Avon Newcomers & Neighbors Board, or in helping run one of our many interest groups, please let us know.
An e-Directory of Membership will be provided to all members. This information is confidential and available to Avon Newcomers & Neighbors Club members only. Its use is restricted to social purposes and cannot be used for business solicitation in any way.
Our Newsletter is published bi-monthly, with all information regarding the Interest Group activities and Social Events. If you wish to submit any information to the newsletter editor, the deadline for submission is the 20th of each month. If for some reason you do not receive your newsletter, please contact us.
